Chef Roger Weldon began his culinary career at the young age of 18, starting out in Alberta and moving through to Toronto. As a graduate of George Brown College, Roger eventually returned to his Lanark County roots in 2007, where his deep appreciation for fresh and local foods was developed in the Ottawa area.
A passionate advocate of Slow Food and the associated sustainable agricultural practices. Roger was selected as a delegate to the 2008 Terra Madre Conference in Turin Italy. Roger was honored when he received the invitation to participate in this prestigious event.
